IBF-STS
IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS)
What it is:
Funding support for training and assessment courses accredited under the Skills Framework for Financial Services (SFwFS). IBF-STS supports both self-sponsored and company-sponsored eligible individuals.
Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
Physically based in Singapore
Successfully complete an IBF-STS accredited course, including any required assessments or examinations
For selected skills categories, funding may apply only to locals employed in the financial sector
Up to 50% funding support, capped at S$3,000 per participant per course
Up to 70% funding support, capped at S$3,000 per participant per course, for eligible Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above
Funding support for the same course is generally granted only once per calendar year per participant
Register for an eligible IBF-STS accredited program
Complete the required attendance and assessments
Funding eligibility is subject to IBF terms and conditions
Your final payable fee will depend on your eligibility and funding tier
FTSÂ
What it is:
Funding support for financial sector training courses recognized under FTS and not accredited under the Skills Framework for Financial Services (SFwFS). FTS is available only for company-sponsored eligible individuals.
Company-sponsored individuals
Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
Physically based in Singapore
Sponsored by an eligible financial institution or qualifying organization
Up to 30% funding support, capped at S$500 per participant per course
Up to 70% funding support, capped at S$500 per participant per course, for eligible Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above
Funding support for the same course is generally granted only once per calendar year per participant
Register for an eligible FTS recognized program through company sponsorship
Complete the required attendance, where applicable
Funding eligibility is subject to IBF terms and conditions
Your final payable fee will depend on your eligibility and funding tier
