Private banking professionals using AI insights for client discovery and personalised UHNW advisory conversations.

What does AI actually do for private banking advisors — and why does it matter now?

Private bankers need strong client knowledge, efficient preparation and personalised conversations. AI can support these skills, but it does not replace them. Instead, it helps advisers organise complex information, identify relevant insights and prepare more focused UHNW conversations.

This full-day program shows participants how to apply AI in practice. First, they learn prompt engineering for client discovery. Next, they use AI-supported research to prepare for UHNW and family office conversations. They also practise creating personalised advisory approaches through realistic simulations and guided feedback. As a result, participants leave with practical skills they can apply in their work.

How will AI tools be used responsibly?

Participants should use only AI tools approved by their organisation. They must not enter confidential, proprietary or personally identifiable client information into public AI platforms. All exercises should use fictional, anonymised or approved data. Participants must also follow their organisation’s information-security, compliance and AI-governance policies.

The workshop does not authorise participants to use any specific public AI tool for live client work. Tool access and permitted use will depend on each participant’s institutional policies.

What will you walk away with?

Apply AI-augmented client discovery and personalization techniques to strengthen UHNW client engagement — including using AI tools to uncover sophisticated client needs that surface in data but not in conversation.

Improve advisory preparation and efficiency using AI-supported research and client insights. As a result, participants can identify relevant opportunities and hold more focused client conversations.

Apply prompt engineering to support client discovery and advisory preparation — designing effective prompts that generate relevant, actionable insights for UHNW and family office client contexts.

Navigate hyper-personalized UHNW advisory conversations — using AI insights to understand decision-making patterns, personalize across portfolio and wealth planning, and build trust while addressing complex structuring needs.

Integrate AI tools into your private banking practice immediately — with a personal 30-day application plan developed during the live simulation module and refined through real-time peer coaching.

What does the program cover?

Five modules building from AI foundations to a full live client simulation — with UHNW role plays and guided feedback throughout.

AI Foundations for Private Banking

  • The role of AI in modern wealth management — what AI actually does in private banking contexts, where it adds genuine value, and where human judgment remains irreplaceable.
  • AI tools for client discovery and relationship enhancement — a practical survey of AI tools available to private banking professionals, with focus on those with immediate application.
  • Balancing AI efficiency with human-centered advisory — using AI as a capability amplifier rather than a relationship substitute, maintaining the trust and personal connection UHNW clients require.
  • Uncovering sophisticated client needs using AI-driven research — synthesizing publicly available and proprietary data into a multi-dimensional picture of a UHNW client’s situation, priorities, and concerns.
  • Advanced questioning for complex family wealth dynamics — structuring discovery conversations that go beyond stated needs to surface family dynamics, succession concerns, and values questions.
  • Preparing for multi-generational wealth scenarios — using AI to anticipate and prepare for next-generation dimensions, including differing investment philosophies and communication preferences.
  • Apply generative AI to support client discovery and advisory preparation — understanding how large language models work well enough to get consistently useful outputs for private banking research tasks.
  • Design prompts to personalize engagement for UHNW and family office clients — building a library of tested prompts for client research, meeting preparation, portfolio commentary, and conversation planning.
  • Practice iterative prompting — refining outputs in real time to get from a generic response to a specific, actionable insight tailored to a particular client context.
  • Understanding UHNW decision-making patterns with AI insights — how different UHNW client profiles make investment decisions, what data signals matter most, and how to position your advice accordingly.
  • Personalizing advisory conversations across portfolio and wealth planning — using AI-generated insights to tailor language, framing, and emphasis to each client’s specific context and preferences.
  • Building trust while addressing complex structuring needs — navigating the tension between AI-driven efficiency and the relational trust-building that UHNW clients require.
  • Hands-on practice with AI-powered client scenarios — UHNW role plays using AI-enhanced discovery techniques applied to realistic private banking situations.
  • Real-time coaching and peer feedback — facilitated by momenta’s coaches with immediate, specific feedback on integrating AI insights into client conversations.
  • Immediate application planning — each participant develops a personal 30-day action plan for integrating AI tools into their existing advisory workflow and client relationship management.

Why attend this workshop?

Foundational clarity

There’s a lot of noise about AI in banking — most pitched at institutions, not individual advisors. This workshop cuts through to what actually matters: which tools to use, how to prompt them effectively, and how to integrate AI insights without disrupting what already works.

Practical application

Every module is built around doing: real prompts, real research tasks, real UHNW client scenarios. The live simulation in Module 5 applies everything with coaching. You’ll leave with a completed 30-day integration plan, not just intentions.

Future readiness

UHNW clients increasingly expect relevant and well-prepared advisory conversations. Advisers who use approved AI tools effectively can strengthen their research, preparation and personalisation while retaining professional judgement.

No. The workshop is designed for client-facing private banking professionals, not data scientists. You won’t be writing code. The focus is practical application: which AI tools to use, how to write effective prompts, and how to incorporate AI insights into your existing advisory conversations.
